Email server instructions for Oakley Nex-Tech® customers migrating to S&T Internet Services® these changes must occur on or after Feb 1st, 2008.

 

Step 1.

1.      Click Start

2.      Click All Programs

3.      Click Outlook Express

Step 2.

1.      Click Tools

2.      Click Accounts…


 

Step 3.

1.      Click Mail tab

2.      Click pop3.ruraltel.net

3.      Click Properties


 

Step 4.

1.      Change from pop3.ruraltel.net to smtp.st-tel.net

2.      Change email address from jdoe@ruraltel.net to jdoe@st-tel.net


 

Step 5.

1.      Click Servers tab

1.      Your Server tab screens settings should similar to the screen shot above.

2.      Proceed to step 7


 

Step 7.               

 

Outlook Express7

 

1.      Change from pop3.ruraltel.net to pop3.st-tel.net

2.      Change from smtp.ruraltel.net to smtp.st-tel.net

3.      Change the jdoe@rural-tel.net to jdoe@st-tel.net

4.      Check My server requires authentication

5.      Click Settings…

Step 8.

1.      Make sure Username settings as my incoming mail server

2.      Click OK


 

Step 9.               

 

Outlook Express9

 

1.      Click OK after you completed the settings: My server requires authentication button.

Step 10.

1.      Click Close


 

Step 11.

Your incoming (POP3) and outgoing (SMTP) servers are now setup to use S&T Internet Service
