S&T recognizes the financial burden that a college education can have on a family. In an effort to assist our area youth, S&T has implemented a program with twelve post-secondary scholarships. Once a year, seniors will be selected from each of S&T's twelve exchanges. The $250 scholarships are awarded on a semester basis and may be renewed up to seven times.

Requirements:

• Must be a high school senior.

• Must have a GPA of at least 2.5 (students not meeting this requirement must provide justification for waiving the requirement.)

• Must reside with a parent/guardian who lives within one of the S&T's twelve exchanges and is an S&T customer in good standing. S&T exchanges are: Brewster, Colby, Dighton, Goodland, Grinnell, Healy, Kanorado, Levant, Menlo, Oakley, Russell Springs, and Winona.

Application:

• Completed application

• Copy of school grade transcript

Applications are due March 23, 2009 and are available from the school counselor or an S&T office.  Recipients will be announced at the S&T annual meeting in April.  S&T is very proud to be able to contribute to the education of the youth of Northwest Kansas and wish them all the best in their journey toward a successful future.
